How It All Began
For the ardent Australian aquarist, sourcing reliable and comprehensive fish keeping information has to date been an arduous task. Most commonly we have turned to the Internet. However the veritable ocean of information available is not always of the best quality, is often conflicting and is mostly related to fish keeping in foreign environments.
This was the dilemma faced by Alex Cooney. A dilemma he knew fellow Australian fish keepers shared and one he was determined to resolve.
A highly experienced graphic designer with a passion for the life aquatic, Alex founded Catch Publishing in June 2006 and set about creating the exciting new information packed Australian Aquarium Magazine.
Catch Publishing has many contributors with vast experience in breeding, teaching, conserving and caring for aquatic life. All have been carefully selected to help create the first choice for Australian fish keepers.
